02 / A DIFFERENT KIND OF DESIGN SCHOOL
Making something look good is one skill. Knowing why it should look that way is another.
You know how to open Figma, choose type and build beautiful compositions. But when a client asks you to explain your direction, where do you begin? Brand Identity School teaches the thinking behind the visuals.
FOR THE WILDLY CURIOUS & THE DELIBERATELY THOUGHTFUL.

03 / OUR LITTLE EMBLEM
THE HARE ASKS
“What if?”
The hare runs towards every possibility. It brings the imagination.
THE TRAIL · 5 WEEKS

THE SWAN ASKS
“But why?”
The swan knows when to pause and choose. It gives the imagination direction.
THE FLIGHT · 8 WEEKS
Be curious enough to explore. Thoughtful enough to choose.
04 / THE WORK YOU WILL MAKE
Follow one guided brand brief from the first question to the final presentation. The hare runs the five weeks of The Trail; the swan takes the three weeks of The Flight.

THE TRAIL · WEEK 01 · DISCOVER
Brief, audience, business context and research.
YOU MAKE
Discovery questionnaire, research plan, competitor map, insight log and a reframed brief.
05 / THE CURRICULUM
Twice a week, deep into the craft: a Wednesday thinking session and a Sunday build session, taught primarily by Shefali, with a practical task in between.
Before a single reference is saved, learn to turn a vague client brief into a problem worth solving.
WEDNESDAY · THE THINKING SESSION
The anatomy of a brand brief
Understand what the business is asking for, and what it has not told you.
SUNDAY · THE BUILD SESSION
Research that leads somewhere
Find useful evidence, rather than collecting a decorative folder of references.
YOU MAKE
Discovery questionnaire, research plan, competitor map, insight log and reframed brief.
How deep we go: You will know what to investigate, how to separate evidence from opinion, and when you have enough context to start defining a direction.
*Two hours per session is the proposed duration, pending final timetable confirmation.
08 / A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Questions are where better design begins.
The Trail covers the complete brief-to-presentation process over five weeks, with 10 live sessions. The Flight adds three weeks of expanded applications, documentation and a personalised written PDF review of your final submission, across 16 live sessions over eight weeks.
